art show on the 16th!

November 7th, 2008 by Susie

Hello! We’re having an art show at my house (450 Sebastopol Avenue) on the 16th with three great bands and a handful of amazing artists. It costs $3-$5 (pay what you can) to support Whispertown2000 (they’re on tour from Los Angeles) and we’re also having a bake sale. This is going to be different from any other house show you’ve been to. Don’t miss out!

Since I haven’t seen XBXRX in 7 years or so

February 9th, 2008 by iowanick

XBXRX is coming up here to Santa Rosa to play in the Boogie Barn. If you haven’t been to the Boogie Barn, it’s pretty rad. Parking is a little sketchy but it’s good times. Careful because drum circles have been known to bust out and I’ve witnessed axe throwing as well. Here’s the flyer, check it for sure. FYI, last time I saw XBXRX they played a 15 minute set, so be ready.

Get Out Your Calendar

January 10th, 2008 by iowanick

Cursive are going to be playing with The New Trust and Santiago on March 1st at the Phoenix Theatre in Petaluma, CA.  Apparently tickets are available today but there wasn’t a ticket price listed through Phoenix Theatre’s myspace posting.

I should be back to posting plenty now that I have gotten back from Vegas and am going to mellow out for a couple weeks.
